Painter’s Lodge, Campbell River: My first HDR. As you know, I’ve been quite vocal about my dislike for HDR photos. I’ve always found them too surreal and kinda weird. Deep down I felt bad that I was being super judgmental about HDR without actually knowing anything about taking or processing HDR photos. This weekend my mum and I trucked up to Campbell River for a photography workshop, Photographer’s at Painters and I met Darren Stone, Times Colonist photographer and HDR guru. He convinced me to at least try HDR once. And I did. And it was really fun. And now I kinda like HDRs. Now, you can all be smug. Then End.
